What To Know Before You Go: What To Know Before You Go:
Due to the risks of COVID-19 we will be capping the group at 20 RSVPs and adhering to social distancing measures. Masks must be worn. Please stay home if you have any symptoms.
We recommend arriving early (15-20 minutes) to allow yourself time to find parking and meet some new people.
This trail is a beginner trail. We will take it slow, and we never leave anyone behind!
Bring plenty of water and snacks.
Because of the limited capacity of this event, please only sign up if you are sure to attend.
About the Trail: TRAIL #1 (CHELSEA)
This is a beautiful, wide-track trail perfect for young kids, strollers etc. Trail #1 is accessible and super easy to access, has ample free parking and has picnic areas at both ends!
The #1 trail starts with a very steep climb near Old Chelsea and then turns into a moderate "blue square" trail with lots of hill climbing and descending until the end at the Luskville Fire Tower.

If you are starting from Old Chelsea you can park in the Chelsea parking/picnic area next to L'Orée du Boris restaurant on Notch Rd and at the Gatineau Park Visitors Center on Scott Street or Penguin Picnic area (parking lot). You can find the Gatineau Park map on the links on this page
About Hike Montreal
Hike Mtl hopes to empower, showcase and normalize BIPOC reclaiming outdoor spaces through community based activities. By doing so we can begin to change the narrative and start to bridge the gap between people of colour and their connection to nature.
